Four members of the executive committee, including Yoon Mo, vice president of personnel affairs at Shinhan Bank, who was suspected of employing a preferential treatment for executive children, attended the warrant practical examination today.

Yoon and others went to the court without answering the questions of the reporters such as "Was there a preferential treatment" or "There was a directive of the prosecutor at the time of the prosecution?"

They are accused of hiring new employees of Shinhan Bank since 2013, including those related to the top executives of financial holding companies, children of local media shareholders, and former senior bureaucrats.

Some of the employees' children were found to have passed the deadline for passing the document screening criterion or receiving the lowest grade in the job interview for reasons such as poor credit.

Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office yesterday demanded arrest warrants for four people, including Yoon, on suspicion of obstructing business by hierarchy.

It is expected that the arrest will be decided at dawn tomorrow later this afternoon.
