China News Service, September 19th. On the 19th local time, the United Kingdom held a state funeral for Queen Elizabeth II. Members of the royal family, British government officials and dignitaries from many countries attended.

Many British people also rushed to London, or watched live broadcasts through British media, etc., to say their final goodbyes to the Queen.

  At about 11:00 local time on the 19th (the following are local times), the Queen's funeral was officially held at Westminster Abbey in London and the whole process was broadcast live.

The funeral service lasted about an hour and was attended by about 2,000 people.

  At about 11:55, the funeral ceremony came to an end, the bugler played "The Last Post", and the whole country observed a two-minute silence.

The funeral then ended with the British national anthem and lamentations.

With the accession of the new King Charles III to the throne, the lyrics of the British national anthem have been changed from "God Save the Queen" to "God Save the King".

Queen to be buried with late husband

  After the state funeral, the Queen's coffin will be taken to the King George VI Memorial Chapel at Windsor Castle to be buried with her late husband, Prince Philip.

  The specific arrangements are as follows:

  · Around 12:00, the coffin of the Queen was first sent to Wellington Arch near Hyde Park.

The Royal Cavalry Artillery fires funeral cannons in Hyde Park, and Big Ben also strikes every minute in mourning.

  · Around 13:00, the funeral procession placed the coffin of the Queen in the national hearse and sent it to Windsor for the final parade.

Members of the royal family will also travel to Windsor by car.
