"Unanimously decided to temporarily restrict the retransmission of the RTVI television channel with the British license in the cable networks of Ukraine," he wrote on Facebook.
According to him, there was a violation of Ukrainian legislation in 2017-2018.
As noted, the decision was made in accordance with the requirements of the Convention on Transfrontier Television, "which is ratified by the Ukrainian state".
"The regulator will be notified in time by the regulator of the UK - OFCOM," he added.
The RTVI channel broadcasts on the territory of a number of CIS, Baltic, German, British, US and other countries. Its total audience is about 25 million people.
In March, the UN expressed concern over the facts of restricting freedom of speech on the territory of Ukraine.
