"Lebanon 24" website reported that a strong explosion was heard in the Qasqas area in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, where thick plumes of smoke were seen in the area, amid conflicting information about the cause. Local news pages indicated that the sound of the explosion that was heard in the Qasqas area was caused by the explosion of a generator.
