The socialist mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, officially announced her candidacy for the 2022 presidential election, to "offer a future to all our children" and "build a more just France", Sunday, September 12 in Rouen.
"We must reinvent our French model weakened by these multiple crises", affirmed the candidate, affirming to want to restore "the respect" and the unity of the country.
Humbly, aware of the gravity of this moment, and to make our hopes the reality of our lives, I decided to be a candidate for the presidency of the French Republic.
