“April 1 is the day of the fool. Poroshenko will win the election or not, claims from unfulfilled promises will either be to the new leader, or to the old one, who will say that this is all - an April Fool's rally. Now, he is trying to find some help and support in the face of battalions and brigades that are on the line of demarcation, because according to recent surveys, 30% of Ukrainian soldiers have a panic condition. They drop their weapons, their units, leave the country. The rest are completely demoralized due to the terrible living conditions, diseases, shortages of food and medicine, ”he said.

According to Vodolatsky, the fighting spirit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the moment is the lowest level and Poroshenko is trying to buy the loyalty of the audience for 12 thousand hryvnias.

“The most important thing, given the fact that Ukraine’s budget has a huge hole and deficit, is unclear, due to which Poroshenko will increase the amount for the maintenance of the Ministry of Defense. It already has their marginal status, while other countries are selling decommissioned and obsolete weapons to Kiev. So now all the presidential statements are of a populist nature, aimed at raising the rating, ”the deputy concluded.

Earlier, Poroshenko said that he decided to raise the salary of the Ukrainian military serving in the Donbass.

It is noted that the monetary allowance will be increased from April 1, and the minimum surcharge will be 12 thousand hryvnia for each soldier.
