“On the evening of March 1, the pilot of the Indian Air Force was handed over to the official representatives of the Indian Embassy in Pakistan in the border village of Wagah,” the report says.

As noted, by now the pilot has already returned to his homeland.

Earlier, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan announced his intention to transfer the detained pilot to India on Friday, March 1.

On February 26, the Indian Air Force attacked militant camps near the border separating India and Pakistan in disputed Kashmir. The Pakistani army later shot down two planes of the Indian Air Force and arrested two Indian pilots.
