Nagano Prefecture and Nagano City have announced that a total of 14 men and women living in the prefecture have been newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
According to Nagano City, a man in his 80s who was infected with the new virus and was hospitalized in a medical institution died.
A total of 991 people were confirmed infected in the prefecture, of which 7 died.
