China News Service, March 9th. According to the official Weibo news of the Shanghai Municipal Government Information Office, at 02:00 on March 9, 2020, 10 suspected cases of new coronavirus pneumonia were ruled out in Shanghai; 1 case was cured and discharged; none New confirmed cases.
As of 12:00 on March 9, Shanghai had eliminated a total of 2541 suspected cases and found 342 confirmed cases. Of the confirmed cases, there were 180 males and 162 females; the oldest was 88 years old and the youngest was 7 months old; 145 had a history of living or traveling in Hubei, 34 had a history of living or traveling outside Hubei, and 159 had a history of contact with related cases. Four cases had a history of Iranian residence; 111 cases came to Shanghai from abroad, 4 cases were imported abroad, and 227 cases were residents of Shanghai. Of the confirmed cases, there are 24 cases in the hospital for treatment, of which 15 cases are in stable condition, 8 cases are in critical condition, 1 case is critically ill; 315 patients are cured and discharged; 3 died. There are still 22 suspected cases under investigation.
