Grammy-nominated American rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot dead in Los Angeles on Sunday, NBC News reported, citing police sources.
The shooter is on the run. A Los Angeles police spokesman confirmed that one person died and two others were injured in a shootout on Sunday afternoon, but did not reveal the identity of the deceased victim. The gunman fled, said the spokesman.
"Having powerful enemies is a blessing," had disturbingly tweeted the rapper a few hours before his death.
