It is said that the materials containing personal information were carried by this teacher and other accompanying teachers as contact information in case of an emergency, such as when a student got lost.
Earlier this month, the school provided an explanation and apology to students and parents, which means that so far there has been no information on leakage of personal information to third parties or damage.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education will inform all metropolitan schools of measures such as not taking out materials that summarize personal information such as mobile phone numbers and only managers who possess materials.
