Summer at the heart of history - Marguerite d'Angoulême, the very wise sister of François 1er

Highlights: Marguerite d'Angoulême (1492-1549) had an essential role at the court of her younger brother, King Francis 1st. She negotiated the release of the king, who had been a prisoner in Spain since the Battle of Pavia. A fine scholar and a great reader, she also marked the literary history of her time by signing several books. In the midst of the Reformation, the one who became Queen of Navarre led a reflection on the evolution of religion.
