The Mossos do not plan to evict the
more than two hundred people
of various nationalities who have spent more than
21 hours in an
illegal
"rave" party
to celebrate New Year's Eve in a warehouse in the
Barcelona
municipality
of Llinars del Vallès
, an event that has so far been has denounced four participants.
Mossos sources have explained to Efe that
around two hundred vehicles
are
parked around
the ship
, so the Catalan police, "by criteria of opportunity, consistency and proportionality", have decided to wait for those attending this illegal party
leave of their own free will
and thereby avoid serious incidents.
The ship is guarded by members of the Llinars local police and members of the Mossos of the
citizen security, ARRO riot control and traffic
units
.
The ship will not be dislodged "to
avoid disorder
and that people could end up damaged," the sources have added.
The same sources have explained that when one of the party goers leaves the ship "he is identified and the corresponding complaint is processed", among other things for attending a
banned
party due
to the coronavirus.
The party was denounced by the residents of the area at about 9:00 p.m. yesterday and, according to these same neighbors, it is expected to last
until January 4
.
