Works exhibition launched in Macao

  Nanfang Daily News (Reporter/Wang Huan) On April 7, it was guided by the Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, sponsored by the Guangdong National Security Foundation, Guangdong Calligraphers Association, Guangdong Artists Association, Shangxintang (Macau) "Harmony·Progress - An Exhibition of Works by Famous Calligraphers and Painters from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Macao's Return to the Motherland and the Ninth National Security Education Day" co-organized by the Calligraphy and Painting Association and Hong Kong Yunfeng Art Gallery held an opening ceremony at the Macao Municipal Affairs Bureau Gallery. This exhibition displays 69 masterpieces by 64 famous calligraphers and painters from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

  It is understood that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the overall national security concept and the 25th anniversary of the return of the Macao Special Administrative Region to the motherland. In this exhibition, artists from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao use the art forms of calligraphy and Chinese painting to support the national security education of the whole people with pen and ink paintings. They use vivid brushwork to depict the colorful picture of the overall national security concept in the practice of "one country, two systems", highlighting the three aspects of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The deep patriotism and national spirit of famous local calligraphers and painters.

  Representatives of participating artists said that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has rich humanistic resources and rich cultural traditions. It is hoped that there will be more opportunities for cultural and artistic exchanges between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in the future, to build cultural consensus, enhance cultural confidence, and jointly draw a better future for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It is a vivid picture of the people of the Greater Bay Area working together to safeguard national security, promote the steady and long-term implementation of "one country, two systems", and high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area.

  This exhibition will be on display at the Macao Municipal Affairs Bureau Gallery from April 7 to April 15. The exhibition hours will be from 9:00 to 21:00 every day before April 14, and from 9:00 to 16:00 on April 15. Visitors can enter for free.
