Security Council reconsiders Palestine's application for UN membership. Security Council decided to submit relevant applications to the Committee for the Admission of New Member States for processing.

Relevant criteria for consideration include whether the applicant is committed to peace and whether he or she is able and willing to fulfill the obligations contained in the United Nations Charter. After reaching its conclusions, the committee will report to the Security Council, which will then decide whether to make recommendations to the UN General Assembly.
