He called for an immediate halt to Israeli attacks on hospitals in Gaza, and for the protection of staff, patients, and civilians. Ghebreyesus warned of the consequences of the collapse of the health system in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The death toll rises

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that, during the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation forces committed 6 massacres in the Strip, claiming 62 martyrs and 91 wounded. He confirmed that the occupation soldiers are threatening the medical teams and the displaced people inside the complex by bombing and destroying the buildings above their heads, or going out for investigation, torture, or execution.

Netanyahu government crisis

Israeli Channel 12 said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked the Supreme Court for an additional 30 days to reach approval of the controversial conscription law, amid the worsening dispute over the conscription of religious Jews (Haredim) between religious parties and a number of ministers.

In recent days, the Israeli government has failed to reach an acceptable formula regarding the recruitment of the Haredim, which makes them obligated to enlist starting Monday, early next April.

A new Palestinian government

Palestinian medical sources announced that 4 Palestinian young men were wounded by bullets from the occupation forces in the Qalandia camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, and an Al Jazeera correspondent also reported that another young man was wounded by bullets from the occupation forces at the entrance to the camp.

At least three Israelis were injured by fire fired at a settler bus and several vehicles near the town of Al-Auja, north of the city of Jericho in the Jordan Valley, on Thursday morning.

The Israeli army said that its forces arrived at the scene of the incident, closed the area, and began combing operations in search of the attackers who fled.

An Israeli ambulance spokesman said that the shooting occurred in two close locations in the same area, where the attackers also targeted Israeli cars.
