“The court sentenced Miftakhov to four years in prison to be served in a maximum security colony. According to the verdict, Azat will spend 2 years and 6 months in prison, and the rest in a colony,” the interlocutor said.

At the same time, the lawyer announced her intention to appeal the verdict.

Earlier it was reported that Miftakhov was detained as he was leaving the colony as part of a new criminal case.

On January 18, 2021, the Golovinsky District Court sentenced Miftakhov to six years in a general regime colony in the case of an attack on the United Russia office in January 2018.
