Juventus have celebrated their eleventh win against AC Milan in their twelfth game of the season. 2: 0 (1: 0) won the Italian champions and leaders against a resurgent Milan, which also lost striker Gonzalo Higuaín with a smooth red card shortly before the end of the game (84).

Previously, Higuaín had missed a penalty against Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny (40 '). Mario Mandzukic (8th minute) and Cristiano Ronaldo (81) met for Juve.

Mandzukic meets, Szczesny parries

Juventus took the lead early as Alex Sandro brought a cross from the left side to Mandzukic's header. In the duel with the vice-world champion had the former Wolfsburg Ricardo Rodríguez no chance - as well as his goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Milan did little in the attack, but got a penalty just before half time. The video assistant had seen that former Bayern player Medhi Benatia got the ball in the duel with Higuaín on the left hand. The striker, who had played with Ronaldo at Real Madrid, but missed out on the strongly responding Szczesny, who steered the ball to the post.

Apart from the penalty, Milan almost did not score Szczesny's goal, who only had to parry one more ball.

Shortly before the end Ronaldo decided with his eighth goal of the season the game. A keen cross from center-back João Cancelo thundered Donnarumma forward, Ronaldo dusted off.

Only four minutes later Higuaín let his frustration run free. First he fouled Benatia in midfield, only to roar furiously towards the referee and the approaching Ronaldo. Higuaín first saw the yellow card. After the Argentine did not calm down, showed him referee Paolo Silvio Mazzoleni even the smooth red because of insult.

After the change from Ronaldo to Serie A Higuaín had indicated that he had to leave because of Ronaldo Real Madrid in 2013.
