After the Formula 1 race in Brazil, there has been a scandal. Red Bull driver Max Verstappen set out on Force India pilot Esteban Ocon. On television pictures of the French channel Canal + was to see how Verstappen the Frenchmen to speech, repeatedly thrust him and Ocon thereby stumbled. Ocon-summoned stewards had to intervene.

Ocon had crashed into the overlapping Verstappen in the race - and had thereby brought the Dutchman for a possible victory. On lap 40 in Interlagos, Ocon and the leading Red Bull driver crashed. In the Senna S curve Verstappen Ocon wanted to lap and sat outside to the overtaking maneuver. When the Dutchman was almost over, Ocon drove him to the side. Verstappen turned and lost the lead to eventual winner Lewis Hamilton.

In the interviews immediately after the end of the race Verstappen had set off on Ocon - but still verbal. "We had a fast car - and then an idiot comes," said the 21-year-old. Ocon replied to the question whether he wanted to talk to Verstappen that he saw no reason for it. "I have always struggled with Verstappen on the track and that will continue to be so in the future," said the Frenchman.
