Green has apologized for the punch, which he says was not intentional.

"I don't usually apologize, but I do apologize to Jusuf. It wasn't meant to be," Green said.

Just over a month ago, Green was suspended for five games for taking a neck swing on Rudy Gobert.

"I'm glad he didn't try to strangle me. That has nothing to do with basketball," said Jusuf Nurkic, who recovered after receiving the punch in the face.

Durant: "Hope he gets help"

Draymond Green is now the name on everyone's lips in the NBA.

"I hope he gets the help he needs. There has been incident after incident. He needs help," said superstar Kevin Durant.

In order for the Golden State player to return to play, he needs to meet certain conditions going forward, according to the league.

In total, Green has been sent off 18 times in his career – the most of any active player in the NBA.
