The tours have been many and the criticism massive after Luis Rubiales kissed Spanish star Jennifer Hermoso on the mouth during the award ceremony after the country's World Cup gold.

The Spanish federation is demanding the tycoon's resignation and Fifa has suspended him from all football-related activity for 90 days. Rubiales himself says that the kiss was consensual, something Hermoso denies, and that he has been subjected to "lynching".

On Friday, Spanish prosecutors announced that they have filed a lawsuit with a court. Rubiales is accused of two crimes: sexual assault and unlawful coercion.

The lawsuit quotes Hermoso, who allegedly said that Rubiales "grabbed her head with both hands" and that the chairman allegedly kissed him without consent.
