THIS IS HOW IT WENT FOR SWEDEN IN THE LAST EUROPEAN TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:

Sweden's men made it to the semifinals of the last European Team Championship, which was held in Romania in 2021. Once there, it came to an abrupt halt against Russia, who won with clear 3-0 in matches. Sweden instead had to settle for bronze. Russia saw themselves defeated in the final by Germany, who won 3-1 in matches. Germany also took the European Championship title on the women's side, where Sweden did not advance from the group stage.
