Manchester United's Anthony has faced fresh allegations of violence from two other women, after similar earlier allegations left him out of the Brazilian squad.

The 23-year-old was left out of the Brazil squad a few days ago following allegations from his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavalin that he had used violence against her more than once since January.

The player denied Cavallin's allegations, but police are still investigating them.

Brazilian newspaper Extra reported that in May 2022, a law student named Raisa de Freitas filed a police report against Anthony, alleging that she had suffered injuries following violent behavior involving the player in Sao Paulo.

A banker named Ingrid Lana also revealed in statements to the Brazilian channel "Record TV" another incident that occurred at Anthony's home in Manchester last October, where she said he pushed her towards the wall and suffered a trauma to her head.

Manchester United have been contacted by British news agency PA Media, but the club has not commented on the new allegations.

Manchester United issued a statement on Wednesday on Cavallin's allegations, saying: "Manchester United acknowledges the allegations against Anthony and would like to point out that the police are still investigating."

"The club will not comment on the matter until more information is available."

"Manchester United takes it seriously, taking into account the impact of these allegations and reports on survivors of abuse."
