Jordan's and Montpellier professional Moussa al-Tamari became Jordan's first scorer in the French league after scoring twice against Lyon on Saturday, which was met with Jordanian, Arab and international celebration on social media.

The French league account in Arabic announced on Saturday on the "X" platform (formerly Twitter) that Al-Tamari received the description of the first Jordanian scorer in the French league after scoring against Lyon in a match that ended in a 4-1 victory for Montpellier.

The French league account praised al-Tamari with several words in the Jordanian dialect, posting pictures of him and writing on them the phrases "Kashkha, Ish Ya Moalem, Derwa Balkm Musa Bek here."

Sports analyst Majid Al-Shaibani said, "After 5 years between the Cypriot and Belgian leagues (and what were remarkable experiences), Jordanian Musa Al-Tamari had the opportunity of a lifetime in the summer, he was a free player and Montpellier signed with him for only one season, today is the second match with them scored at Olympique Lyonnais Hal, an experience that could be a turning point for his career."
