Prior to the start of the summer national high school baseball season on June 6, players from 49 representative schools participated in a rehearsal for the opening ceremony at Koshien Stadium.

This year's 105th Summer National High School Baseball Tournament featured 49 representative schools that won regional tournaments, and rehearsals for the Opening Ceremony were held at Koshien Stadium from 5 a.m. on the 9th.

Last year, the opening ceremony was changed to a format in which only the captain participates due to a series of new coronavirus infections among the players of the representative school just before the start of the season, but this year, for the first time in four years, all the players of the representative school will march to the entrance.

At the rehearsal, they marched from north to south with Sendai Ikuei High School in Miyagi, who won the championship for the first time as a Tohoku team last year and are aiming to win back-to-back titles, to check the flow of the ceremony.

Finally, Kochi Chuo High School captain NISHIOKA Yushin practiced the players' oath to prepare for the 4th.

The tournament will be held over 6 days, including rest days from 6 to 3 days, and if the schedule goes well, the final will be held on the 17nd of this month.
