Right-back Stina Lennartsson got a chance in the World Cup squad after Hanna Lundkvist injured herself in the game against the Philippines on site in New Zealand.

Lennartsson was at home in Småland and was shocked when the call came, even though Peter Gerhardsson had told her to be ready if something happened.

"I was probably a bit shocked there and then and that everything would go so fast. Suddenly, I was on a plane a few hours later.

The thoughts were spinning in the head of the Linköping player, who is both afraid of flying and a little giddy as she describes it.

"I think a lot of people were a little worried back home about sending me here. I can end up anywhere and don't know where to go. But it worked, now I'm here.

Once in place, Lennartsson, who is very grateful for the opportunity, has struggled with the time change. On Tuesday, she did her first hundred percent workout.

"It's been a tough few days. I didn't think it would be this hard. The time change means that you do not really feel alive. But now it's better.
