Already winner, in 2017, Elias Ymer recidivated this Sunday, November 11, 2018, by winning the final of the sixth Challenger Mouilleron-le-Captif, against the same opponent, the German Yannick Maden: 6-3, 7-6 (5 ), in 1 h 48. The Swede (22 years) signed a double unprecedented career, as well as the Vendée International.

Accurate at the rendezvous, where he had 100 points to defend, Elias Ymer won the Vendée Open at Mouilleron-le-Captif for the second time in a row.

The 22-year-old Swede dominated, as in 2017, the seven-year-old German Yannick Maden, who had defeated him at the Rennes Challenger earlier this year.

Faced with the 126th world, Elias Ymer (no 130 ATP until Sunday) was imperial, winning the first set, in 37 minutes (6-3), before concluding the second, tie-break, in 1:12, while he was led 2-5.

This is the first time that the Swede, of Ethiopian origin, retains a career title. Professional since 2014, and former protégé of Robin Söderling, he now has five in Challenger.
