This weekend marks the Centenary of the First World War. Celebrated November 11, Armistice Day, football players used to wear a poppy, the famous "Poppy" on the shirt. But in 2016, FIFA banned this practice in its competitions.

History had already made a lot of talk, and stands out today. Two years ago, FIFA, the International Football Federation had simply banned the poppy, the "Poppy" on the jerseys of players involved in its competitions. Is this still the case this year with the celebration of the Centenary of the First World War?

The question is posted. While Theresa May, British Prime Minister at the time, had ruled FIFA's decision "scandalous" , this year no information was given around this poppy port. In the Champions League, none of the English club players wore "Poppy" on their jerseys.

In the league, some players have made the decision to wear, or not to wear, the poppy.
