FIFA celebrated one of the record-breaking memories of the Argentinian star by tweeting on its official Twitter page.

Fifa broke a three-goal streak in a match in which Barcelona won 5-1 at Sevilla on this day in 2014.

The game has surpassed the record of the club's 251 goals in the Primera Liga. Messi scored 253 goals in 289 games, becoming the league's top scorer.
