Russia will not accept international biathlon competitions until 2022

This became known after the International Biathlon Union (IBU) published a calendar of competitions for the seasons 2020/21 and 2021/22.

There are no Russian stages in the calendar. At the same time Russia is not in the calendar of the season-2018/19.

In December 2017, the IBU deprived Russia of the Biathlon Union of full membership, granting the organization a temporarily limited status due to the doping violations of Russian athletes.
