The League for Human Rights filed a complaint against X for "discrimination" in reaction to the revelations of Football Leaks on the ethnic registration of young players at PSG, according to a letter to the Paris prosecutor and consulted Friday by the AFP.

From 2013 to the spring of 2018, PSG's recruitment cell mentioned ethnic criteria in its evaluation cards of young players, classified as "French", "Maghrebi", "West Indians", "African" , revealed Thursday a collective European media, including Mediapart and Special Envoy in France.

PSG confirmed Thursday "that forms with illegal content were used between 2013 and 2018 by the recruitment cell of the training center, dedicated to territories outside Ile-de-France."

Faced with these revelations, the LDH seized the prosecutor "of a complaint against X for discrimination as well as for collection and processing of personal data revealing racial or ethnic origins" , writes Malik Salemkour, president of the association, in the mail consulted by AFP.

"It would appear that (...) some players would have been ousted from recruitment in this club on the sole basis of their ethnic origin" in violation of the Penal Code, argues Mr. Salemkour. The Licra (International League Against Racism and Anti-Semitism) also reacted Thursday to the revelations of Football Leaks, evoking facts "very serious". Sports Minister Roxana Maracineanu has expressed her "dismay" at the deal.
