If the uncertainty hovered over the identity of the players who will be lined Friday by French captain Yannick Noah to face Croatia, it will be well Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Jeremy Chardy who will have the responsibility to represent the Blues.

The new regulation introduced this season allows to select five players, not four, so Noah did not have to dismiss a player today, like last year. He just had to choose two to play the first singles Friday and can decide to change his duet for Sunday's meetings.

If the choice of double pair no longer seems to be in doubt - Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut form one of the best duets on the planet - it is not the same for singles.

But Yannick Noah has made his choice, and it will be Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Jeremy Chardy who will be lined blue to play the singles in the final of the Davis Cup against Croatia. They will face Marin Cilic and Borna Coric.
