Under the leadership of Frédéric Le Corre, Claude Cuny and Loïc Desniel, the event is again on the UCI calendar for 2019, from June 5th to 9th, and five stages on the four Breton departments.
"80,000 to 160,000 €" budget
Best known in the event, installed in his office on the Avenue de la Perriere in Lorient, Frédéric Le Corre was interested in the future of the Tour de Bretagne Feminine. "I found it unfortunate that such a test is no longer organized. I contacted Claude Cuny to offer my services on a voluntary basis. We quickly found a consensus. I also want to breathe new eyes, I who have already invested in the organization of sporting events, but in the world of football. Around Claude Cuny, Loïc Desniel (president of CC Bigouden), we also want to rely on volunteers who have already proven themselves on this race. Of course, it remains to develop and find new financial partners. "
For Frédéric Le Corre, it will be important to double the budget: "From 80 000 to 160 000 €. For now, we already have the assurance of the Region's participation in supporting women's sport and cycling in particular. We also sent files to about fifty private companies. At the sports level, the lifts are good. The fact also to make dispute this test in June, with a against-the-clock, is a few more days of the championships of France (end of June).
