Typhoon No. 10 Record storm feared Damage to people and housing on September 5, 16:22

With the approach of Typhoon No. 10, there are fears of a record storm that we have never experienced before.

According to data compiled by the Japan Meteorological Agency based on information from the Japan Wind Engineering Society, if the maximum instantaneous wind speed is approximately 30 meters, people will not be able to stand unless they are caught in something, and they will be injured by flying objects. This means that roof tiles may fly or the prefabricated hut that is not fixed may fall over in the building.

In addition, when outdoors, thin tree trunks are broken, unrooted trees fall, signboards fall, and road signs tilt.

When the maximum instantaneous wind speed reaches 50 meters, a running truck overturns, many trees fall down, utility poles and streetlights also fall, and the block fence collapses.

Furthermore, if it reaches 60 meters, some of the buildings may collapse or some of the steel-framed buildings may deform.

With Typhoon No. 10 this time, it is predicted that the maximum instantaneous wind speed will be 70 meters at the strongest, and there is a danger of a record storm.

The Meteorological Agency calls for actions outside in the wild after the storm has actually started to blow, so it is necessary to take action at an early stage before rain or wind increases.
