The court found Abyzov guilty of fraud, creating a criminal community, money laundering and bribery.

"According to the totality of crimes, the sentence was finally imposed in the form of 12 years of imprisonment with serving the sentence in a high-security penal colony with a fine of 80 million rubles," the press service of the Moscow courts reported.

The rest of the defendants in the criminal case received sentences from 7 to 18.5 years in prison.

The prosecutor's office asked to sentence Abyzov to 19.5 years in a maximum security colony.

According to lawyer Anatoly Kuznetsov, Abyzov paid more than 20 billion rubles to the state from his own funds.

In April, the Federal Agency for State Property Management sold the arrested ordinary registered shares of Industrial Technologies JSC in the amount of 1667,<> shares, owned by Abyzov.
