Netanyahu set war goals by eliminating Hamas and releasing all hostages in Gaza (Reuters)

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday reiterated that Tel Aviv will not stop its war on the Gaza Strip until it achieves all its goals.

Netanyahu said in a video speech, posted on his official account on the X platform, "We fight until victory, we will not stop the war until we complete all its goals, eliminating (the Islamic Resistance Movement) Hamas and releasing all hostages in Gaza."

He added that Hamas had two choices: surrender or die, and that Gaza would no longer pose any threat to Israel.

Netanyahu has repeatedly stressed that the war on Gaza will not stop unless Hamas is eliminated and all prisoners held in the Strip are released.

According to Israeli statistics, Hamas captured about 239 people during its attack on southern Israel on October 7, dozens of whom exchanged during a 7800-day humanitarian truce until the first of December, with Israel, which holds <>,<> Palestinians, including children and women, in its prisons.

Since Oct. 20, the Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, leaving 52,600 Palestinian martyrs and <>,<> wounded, most of them children and women, massive destruction of infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, according to Gaza authorities and the United Nations.
