José Ramón Sacristán, hairdresser and make-up artist for Telemadrid, passed away this past Wednesday night in Leganés (Madrid) at the age of 45. Joserra, as he was known among the journalists and collaborators of the regional channel, was in charge of pampering in detail the image of all those who were in front of the Telemadrid cameras every day.

His sudden death occurred at the home of his elderly mother, whom he cared for on a daily basis. This past Monday he returned to work at Telemadrid after a few days of vacation and told his colleagues that he had been diagnosed with a possible lung infection.

The endearing hairdresser has spent the last year carrying out his professional work for the morning program Buenos días Madrid, where he did an impeccable job and spread his good humor to all his colleagues.

"At Telemadrid, we deeply regret his loss and convey our deepest condolences to his family and friends. All his colleagues from Telemadrid, Onda Madrid and the multimedia area, and especially from the hair and make-up department, will always remember him fondly," the regional channel said on its social networks.

Before joining Telemadrid, Joserra had worked at Atresmedia where he was also taking care of the image of journalists, collaborators and talk show hosts in several programs on Antena 3 and La Sexta.
