Military expert Maj. Gen. Fayez al-Duwairi said that the battles published by the resistance factions in the Juhr al-Dik area in the northern Gaza Strip confirm that Israel did not control the area despite entering it 47 days ago, noting that the resistance is carrying out operations carried out only by the elite elite.

He added that Israel has pushed nine entire divisions to Juhr al-Dik, yet the area is still a thorn in its throat because of the resistance's ability to carry out qualitative operations inside it.

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), showed photos of the attack by five of its members on the headquarters of the Israeli forces in Juhr al-Dik, during which it said it killed 10 Israelis.

Commenting on the operation, al-Duwairi said al-Qassam fighters carried out a tight monitoring operation, took correct combat positions and carried out an operation carried out only by the elite elite.

The military expert attributed the appearance of the fighters without shoes during the attack to their climbing a berm, which makes shoes an obstacle during the fighter's climb.

He also attributed their failure to take the body of the dead Israeli soldier – who appeared in the video – to the conditions of the battle, and fearing that the body was a factor in delaying the withdrawal of the fighting force, adding that the resistance has enough bodies and prisoners detained.

He reiterated that the resistance adopts the Desert Fish method, which relies on terror and shock, in order to assure Israel's political and military leaders that it is capable of reaching any goal at the time it determines.

As for the nature of the operation, al-Duwairi said it required long preparation because it took place in open ground, which means that the force was exposed to any aircraft or drone in place.

The Israeli response came as soon as the shell was dropped, which is evident in one of the fighters leaning back to avoid bullets, he said, but the group was able to complete the operation and return safely, al-Qassam said.

Regarding the site of the operation, al-Duwairi said it often occurred near the fence separating Gaza and the Gaza Strip, meaning that the tunnels were still operating and that they were not affected by all the bombs dropped by Israel.

Regarding the death toll in the ranks of the occupation, al-Duwairi said that the resistance's talk of destroying 100 vehicles during the past 5 days means that Israel has lost at least 400 individuals in at least one week.

The military expert reiterated his opinion that the battle is currently in favor of the defender because he knows the nature of the land and areas, and that the losses of the occupation are much higher than what he declares because almost all the battles are from zero distance.

He concluded that the occupation army has not fought a battle since 2006 because Israel developed the Tanova plan to develop the army based on technology, which weakened the individual's ability to fight.
