According to the agency, the security police detained an Estonian citizen, ex-editor of Sputnik Media, Allan Huntsom, and arrested him for two months.
"Such abuses by the Estonian Okhrana are yet another manifestation of the cynicism of official Tallinn, which is trying to settle scores with undesirable independent activists under the guise of protecting national security," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The ministry added that in this way Tallinn seeks to curry favor with its Western curators and incite Russophobia.
