Al-Qassam Brigades continue to drain the occupation forces (Al-Jazeera)
The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said on Saturday that its fighters were able to "snipe" Israeli soldiers in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza and detonated two canisters in an Israeli foot force consisting of 7 soldiers east of Khan Yunis, and a third anti-personnel device upon the arrival of a rescue force to rescue the soldiers, and caused it between "dead and wounded."
The battalions said that they targeted 3 "Merkava" tanks of the occupation forces with "Al-Yassin 105" shells east of Khan Yunis, before talking about destroying the "Merkava" tank with a commando action device northeast of Khan Yunis, in addition to targeting its fighters an Israeli foot force stationed in a house there with an anti-personnel shell, and caused it between "dead and wounded".
Al-Qassam also announced that one of its fighters attacked a group of Israeli occupation soldiers with a grenade, killing and wounding them" in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip. Al Jazeera obtained images of violent clashes between the Qassam Brigades and the occupation forces west of Gaza City.
The battalions added – in a statement – that they targeted two tanks and two bulldozers of the occupation with "Yassin 105" shells and managed to snipe two Israeli soldiers in the Zeitoun neighborhood, noting that they bombed a gathering of penetrating vehicles east of Khan Yunis with mortars, and an Israeli bulldozer with a Tandom shell.
Al-Jazeera also showed footage obtained of the attack of the Qassam Brigades on the occupation soldiers in their tents in the Juhr al-Dik area in the Gaza Strip, showing the moments when a number of Qassam operatives attacked Israeli soldiers in tents behind the lines of incursion and "finished them off".
The footage shows one side of the battle, in which "Qassam elements eliminated 10 soldiers", al-Qassam said, noting that all its fighters who participated in the attack "returned safely and took the weapon of one of the soldiers".
This comes on the 71st day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the occupation army's continued bombardment of separate areas in the Strip, leaving so far 18,800 martyrs, and 51,<> injured, most of them children and women, in addition to massive destruction of residential buildings, vital facilities and hospitals.
