The new agreement replaces the previous one, which lasted from 2020 to 2023. At that time, increased security, drug use among young people and a reduction in the number of violent crimes were the goals.

Is there a goal that you have not been able to meet?

"I'm sure there are several where there is potential for development. If there's one thing we've learned, it's to be effective when it comes to confiscating weapons and detaining more individuals," says local police area manager Oscar Nissfolk.

The City Council will formally make a decision on the collaboration agreement on 14 December.
