It was on Thursday that all parishes and pastorates throughout the country were affected by serious IT disruptions. All workers were instructed to keep their computers switched off.

Mona Eriksson, head of administration at Luleå Cathedral Parish, says that the computer system is still down.

Instead, the congregation has had to be creative in its work.

"There haven't been any problems now, but we expect to be able to go back to pen and paper throughout December," says Eriksson.

The cyberattack has been reported to the police and the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.

In the clip, Mona Eriksson and cemetery manager Fredrik Lundberg talk about how to work without the computer system.
