About 100 people, who have previously been opposition figures or journalists in Russia, post comments critical of Putin on pro-Russian social media on a daily basis. So far, more than 2.3 million comments have been posted.
"A person who watches Russian television should get different perspectives on social media. Maybe the person first thinks that it is propaganda from the West, but if similar comments appear on various social media, a worldview is created based on more objective information, says the manager Egor Kuroptev to The Insider.
