On November 27, the Moscow court refused to register the bankruptcy petition of the SPB Exchange due to improper paperwork, while the press service of the exchange noted that it had not submitted any documents to the arbitration court.

"In the near future, SPB Exchange plans to appeal to law enforcement agencies and initiates an investigation into the case of illegal filing of a bankruptcy petition by criminals," the statement says.

The exchange noted that fraudsters can use the news agenda to commit crimes.

Earlier it became known that SPB Exchange filed for bankruptcy. This information was taken from the data of the card index of arbitration cases. Later, the SPB Exchange reported that the data on the filing of a bankruptcy petition by the trading platform did not correspond to reality.

At the same time, shares of SPB Exchange fell by almost 30% against the backdrop of a bankruptcy filing.
