The Ministry explained that this aid comes within the framework of the State of Qatar's support for the Palestinian people, and its full support for them during the difficult humanitarian conditions they are currently experiencing.

The truce allowed the release of dozens of detainees in the Gaza Strip and Palestinian prisoners from Israeli occupation prisons, in addition to the entry of convoys of humanitarian aid and fuel into the Strip, which was subjected to Israeli aggression that lasted about 50 days, causing the death of more than 14,36 Palestinians and the injury of more than <>,<>.

The Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lolwa Al-Khater, arrived on Sunday in the Gaza Strip, as part of a Qatari diplomatic delegation, to supervise the process of introducing a Qatari aid package and delivering it to the Palestinian people.

Al-Khater's visit to the Gaza Strip is the first by a senior Arab official since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Strip on the seventh of last October.
