"Ukraine has agreed with partners to receive warships to ensure the safety of ships in the 'grain corridor' in the Black Sea," the publication said in a message on its Telegram channel.

Zelensky noted that the start of convoying ships is "a matter of the near future."

In October, Zelensky said that Ukraine plans to open a "grain corridor" to Romania through Moldova in the near future.

On September 16, Ukraine's Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov said that two cargo ships were heading to Ukrainian ports through a temporary corridor.
