"My mental faculties were not very good," Aline Fernanda de Siqueira Maschietto told this newspaper. She talks about the early morning of November 3 that she spent at the home of lawyer Cándido Conde-Pumpido Varela, son of the president of the Constitutional Court, and ended up denouncing him along with two other friends for gang rape. "I was very drunk," the escort says. He prefers not to clarify whether he is still in Spain or has returned to Brazil, as he told the agents who took his statement that night. Nor does he explain the reasons why he did not go to court to give evidence. Of that night, in a telephone conversation with EL MUNDO, he only wants to point out that "I was not very well in my mental faculties."

Aline stated that she had consumed "wine, beer and ecstasy" at Cándido Conde-Pumpido Varela's house. The version he gave to the agents is included in the statement to which Crónica has access. "While the three of them [Candido and two friends] were touching me all over my body, they were telling me they wanted to have a party with me. The three of them started touching me all over my body [...]". Candide allegedly persecuted her after refusing to have sex with the three of them. "He grabbed me by the hair, put me in another room, threw me on the bed and then climbed up, started biting my neck [...] But then he threw me on the bed, climbed up, grabbed me by the neck and began to penetrate me with great force [...] Candide was uncontrolled, unrecognizable."

The images taken inside the house presented by the defense of Cándido Conde-Pumpido Varela contradict the complaint. They served magistrate María Isabel Durantez Gil, a member of the progressive association Judges for Democracy and former director general of the Merchant Marine in the Ministry of Public Works during Zapatero's second term, to release the accused. From 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Nov. 3, Aline can be seen in one of the dormitories dressed "in a sports shirt." He moves from one side of the room to the other. On the bed you can see a man's legs. At 6:21 a.m., Aline jumps and gestures to the camera. At 6:40 he laughs. Meanwhile, Aline drinks wine while having a normal conversation with the defendant a few hours after the alleged rape took place.

Aline does not seem to show the attitude of someone who has witnessed three friends "in a festive atmosphere, consuming alcohol and drugs, and with intentions of having sexual relations; ignoring it [...] they stripped naked and began to touch each other's manhood." At 10:08 a.m., cameras located in the bedroom and what looks like a kitchen, record an altercation. Aline bangs on a door. Count-Pumpido asks him to stop. "Aline, please stop punching. Aline, you're out of control, please." The voices of the woman who denounced Cándido Conde-Pumpido reach the bedroom. He is calmer than she is: "I'm not going to open the door," he tells her.

The medical report signed at the Reina Sofía University Hospital describes injuries of a "minor" nature, "without evidence" of injuries to the "external genital organs" or other wounds.

Aline Fernanda de Siqueira is 37 years old. She advertises her services as an escort on specialized websites, for which she charges up to 450 euros per hour if she performs them outside her home. He has already shut down his social media accounts. In 2017, she founded the textile company Dolce Vita with a partner. His name also appears on the website Esexcavador, a Brazilian public information container. The portal refers to "29 open judicial processes" in Brazil, 25 in the state of São Paulo. She met Candide at the Opium nightclub. The complaint states that the two had been having "sexual relations for months. Although at first he paid for her services, he has not done so since January, the relationships being consensual."
