Earlier this autumn, Moelven gave notice to 50 people in Värmlandsbro. The construction market continues to be weak, and Moelven is now being forced to issue a new notice of redundancy for an additional 50 employees. This time, it mainly affects employees in construction and in the factory in Torsby.

Moelven points out in a press release that employees at other locations may also be affected.

"Of course, it is unfortunate to have to give notice once again. But the market remains weak. This notice comes as a result of the fact that projects are being completed on a contract basis, and that there is a limited number of new projects coming in. Therefore, we need to once again adapt our staffing to the current situation," says Henrik Asp, CEO of Moelven Byggmodul AB, in a press release.
