The Armenian Foreign Ministry reported that the parties exchanged views on the issues of the comprehensive partnership agenda.
"The interlocutors discussed steps to deepen the political dialogue between Armenia and the EU, prospects for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields," the ministry said.
In addition, Mirzoyan stressed the importance of the positive dynamics associated with the initiation of a dialogue on visa liberalization.
Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the West had a "beastly grip" on Armenia after the failure in Ukraine.
