Israeli forces continue to storm West Bank cities (Reuters)

On Wednesday evening, Palestinian boy Moataz Anas (16 years old) was killed after the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Burin in Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank, bringing the number of martyrs today to 8 in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced this morning the arrival of 6 martyrs shot by the occupation to Tulkarm Governmental Hospital after the Israeli forces stormed the city, and a Palestinian was killed in the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said it had dealt with 26 injuries, four of them by live ammunition, across the occupied West Bank.

He explained that the occupying forces prevented the entry of ambulance crews to the Tulkarm camp, which was stormed by the Israeli army.

Today's eight martyrs bring the total number of martyrs in the West Bank to 226 since October 7.

Raids and arrests

The occupying forces continued to raid and arrest several cities and towns in the West Bank.

The Israeli occupying forces raided the emergency department of Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarm, arrested one of the injured, and surrounded Al-Isra Specialized Hospital.

The Palestinian News Agency reported that the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Anin, west of Jenin, this afternoon and set up military checkpoints at its main entrances.

The Palestinian News Agency also reported that Israeli forces arrested two civilians from the town of Tarqumia, west of Hebron, and clashes erupted during which Israeli occupation soldiers fired live bullets and tear gas canisters at the citizens.


Al-Jazeera correspondent said that the occupation forces stormed the city of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank, and the Israeli forces blew up a house in Al-Balawneh neighborhood during the continuous incursion into Tulkarm camp.

In the Dheisheh refugee camp, near Bethlehem, the Israeli army carried out a military operation during which a number of Palestinians were arrested, and clashes erupted with dozens of Palestinians.

On the other hand, the Tulkarm Brigade of the Al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters detonated explosive devices in the bulldozers and vehicles of the occupation during their incursion into the camp, which led to their damage, and they also caught an Israeli force in a tight ambush in the Al-Balawneh axis, and achieved injuries there.

The Israeli occupation forces also arrested a young man from the city of Tubas while he was passing by a military checkpoint.

For its part, the Palestinian Prisoners' Club announced on Wednesday that the Israeli army arrested 35 Palestinians, bringing the total number of detainees in the occupied West Bank to 3035,<> since the seventh of last October.

The escalation in the West Bank coincides with the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in the death of more than 14,33 Palestinians, most of them women and children, as well as the injury of more than <>,<> others.
